Any chance Joss Whedon and the powers that be might resurrect the Serenity- Firefly franchise?

Only one of the best Sci Fi movies (Serenity) and series (Firefly) ever produced. I think it’s more popular now then when it was originally aired. Any folks in the ‘biz’ that might have a notion?
How could I start a campain to get Fox’s attention?

I would love to see this happen, but not put on TV. Joss Whedon doesn’t have a very good reputation when it comes to having his shows on TV. It has a lot to do with the fact that he continues to trust big channels like Fox with his programs. Almost all of his shows have been canceled prematurely. Firefly was canceled before the filming of the first season was even complete and Dollhouse was canceled after only 2 seasons. Buffy was even almost canceled but was luckily picked up by another network. I’d like to think that if he ever continues either Firefly or Dollhouse or even starts a completely new series, he will instead release them online as a series of webisodes.
